The HB City Council MAGA majority's tenure has been disruptive and destructive. They passed amendments to the city charter that might require voter IDs and restrict the flags flown in city facilities.  They have raised the salary of the city attorney so that he makes as much as the Los Angeles city attorney. They settled a law suit with the company that brings us the Air Show when were clearly not responsible for closing the air space during the show in 2021. Now they are attacking the HB Public Library by instituting a review board to evaluate childrens books and by starting the process of privatizing the library.   Please go to the Voter Engagement page for a full description of the problems at hand.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

Donate to Protect HB, a progressive PAC that is reaching out to the community to make us aware of the MAGA council members' exploits. Joine Protect HB and OCHuddle in activities to protest the council's actions. VOTE in November to keep our current sensible council members: Dan Kalmick, Natalie Moser and Rhonda Bolton.

Each quarter OCHuddle shares it's funds with an organization who represents a worthy cause.  Please consider supporting HBTrees.  Check out their website for opportunities to help and participate.
